Show More >>The Executive Committee member of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hanan Ashrawi, has urged the European Union to put an immediate end to the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.
In a meeting with the E-U representative to the West Bank, Gaza Strip and UNRWA, Ashrawi stressed the importance of the European role in the two-state solution and in bringing about an end to the illegal occupation of Palestine. He also called for pressure on Israel to halt settlement activities on the occupied territories before it is too late.
