Delicious fork tender baked potatoes with a cheesy homemade cheese sauce! Ing for the potatoes: Preheat oven to 400 degrees 5 lbs of baking potatoes cubed 4 tbsp unsalted butter Salt to taste 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp lemon pepper 11/2 to 2 tsp basil Method: Sprinkle the potatoes with olive oil and go ahead and add all the rest of the seasoning making sure you mix all the ingredients really well. Cover the potatoes with some aluminium foil and stick them in the oven at 400 degrees for about 25 min, depending on your oven you might need to increase the time, make sure they are fork tender. Cheese Sauce 4 tbsp unsalted butter 2 tbsp all purpose flour 2 cups milk 1/2 tsp of white pepper 16 oz cheddar cheese (can add more if you like) Melt butter in a sauce pan and add the all purpose flour stir well until you get a very light brown color, add the milk and stir continuously stir it with a silicone whisk making sure there is no lumps in there, continue to stir until it starts to thicken up, now add the white pepper and the cheese keep stirring continuously until the cheese has melted.
