Show More >>Iran\'s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says Tehran pursues a policy of peaceful coexistence and closer ties with its neighbors.
During his meeting with Oman\'s Sultan Qaboos, Zarif emphasized that Iran holds great respect for Oman as a neighboring country, and is prepared for the expansion of bilateral relations. The top diplomat also called on Saudi Arabia to work together with Iran toward achieving regional stability. For his part, the Omani king said there are proper grounds to expand ties with Iran. Zarif entered Oman after visiting Kuwait on the second leg of his regional tour. He is now in Qatar and may also visit Saudi Arabia.
